Hello!
My name is Christal Mai. I am a wedding and portrait photographer from Brisbane, Australia and an accredited professional photographer with the AIPP. Being a Southern Chinese, I speak fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
In 2012, I resigned my Graphic Designer job and began following my dream in the new journey. I photographed my first wedding, my first family portrait and my first newborn! In 2016 I won two slivers in the Wedding category at QLD AIPP Epson State Awards and AIPP The Australian Professional Photography Awards.
In the last five years, weddings and portraits introduced me to extraordinary people and family. I enjoyed every second being behind of my camera. I smile when the newborn poo in my studio, I laugh when the family has fun during the photo shoot session, and I tear when the father of the bride gives a touching speech during a wedding reception. I am there capture every hug, kiss, laugh and tear! And I am so blessed that people chose me to share in their joy as I provided a contribution that is a real and lasting art piece.
